Ladakh Bike Tour / Trip Package 2018


Day 01: Arrive Delhi – Overnight Journey to Manali (540 Kms/ 12-14 hrs approx)
On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station you will be assist by our executive. Later proceed to Manali. It will take approx 12 to 14 hours to reach Manali. On the way you can have your dinner (on direct payment basis). Overnight Journey to Manali.

Day 02: Arrive Manali – Afternoon motorbike test ride 
You will arrive in Manali by 10 AM and complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax till afternoon. After lunch get ready for local sightseeing of Manali. Today you will visit Solang Valley is renowned as the preferred location for adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh. For those who love the rush of adrenaline; there is no place better than Solang in Kullu Valley to indulge in parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. It is 8500 feet above mean sea level. Solang is not just about adventure activities. Its lush greenery, apple orchards, snow-capped peaks and lakes attracts lacs of visitors. Later visit  450 years old Hadimba Devi Temple built in the tranquil and serene woods, the oldest temple in Manali, Tibetan centre & monastery, Club House, Vanvihar, Mall Road Manali and Vashisht village,  known for its hot sulphur springs. Later, come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 03: Manali/ Rohtang Pass/ Keylong/ Jispa (138 Kms/ 7 hrs)
Today wake up early and Get ready for an exciting day. Start your journey to Rohtang Pass positioned at an altitude of 3798 m. This pass remains closed during the winters due to heavy snow from the month November to May. This would really turn out to be a challenge as the roads you will go through are really bad and the weather conditions are also uncertain. Pass through the Lahaul Valley and enjoy watching its several villages and confluence of Chandra and Bhaga Rivers etc. You will arrive Jispa by evening. Check-in at the hotel/Camps and enjoy a delicious dinner of the mountains.

Day 04: Jispa/ Baralacha Pass/ Sarchu/Leh (338 Kms/ 10-12 hrs)
Get Ready for one of the most interesting high altitude drive up to Leh. As you leave Jispa behind, enter the Greater Himalayan landscape. This highway route, takes you into the heart of the mountains. On the way to leh we will cross Darcha, Sarchu and treat your eyes to the wonderful views as you are driving on Baralachha Pass (5000 m) and Tanglang-La (5350 m)  (‘La’ means Pass), the second-highest motor able mountain pass in the world. As you cross the pass, you enter into the mountainous roads of Leh. On the way we can see the  monasteries of Shey and Thiksey made on hilltops. Reach Leh late in the evening, get check in and relax.

Day 05: Leh Local & Sham Valley Sightseeing

Today early morning after breakfast, you get an introduction to the quirks of the modern Royal Enfield, waiting in the hotel parking lot. We learn about this time-machine and after short briefing we will proceed for the local sightseeing of Leh. Today we will visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Sankar Gompa, Sangam, Spituk Kali Mandir, Hall Of Fame, Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River) & Alchi. The tricky bends and stretches on the road will help you test the characteristics of the bike and acquaint yourself to handle the motor beast for your entire tour.   In evening return to Leh and give a well-deserved wash down to your dusty bikes & fix all the mechanical bugs that you've picked up along the way. Fill your stomachs and be off to your well-deserved rest.

Day 06: Leh to Pangong via Chang La Pass (149Kms/ 6-7 hrs)
The day is scheduled for visiting one of the most popular lakes in Leh, Pangong Lake situated at 14,000 feet, is bisected by the international border between India and China. The largest brackish water lake in Asia is one of the best attraction of Ladakh. Two-third portion of the lake lies in China. On arrival at Pangong check into camps and enjoy the breathtaking views of crystal clear lake blessed with so many intriguing shades of blue. Dinner and Overnight stay at camps in Pangong.

Day 07: Pangong to Leh (149Kms/ 6-7 hrs)
Today early morning after delicious breakfast checkout from camps and start driving back to Leh. On the way back to Leh visit Hemis Monastery and  3 idiots school.  Upon arrival check into hotel and enjoy a great view of the Indus Valley and the Zanskar range. Spend your time exploring the local places. Later, come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 08: Leh to Nubra via Khardung La Pass(149Kms/ 7-8 hrs)
Today after breakfast get onto your bike to vsit Nubra Valley. On the way visit the very popular Khardungla Pass, lying at an altitude of 18360 feet above the sea level around 39 km from Leh. It is one of the world's highest mountain passes.  . Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by Border Road Officers  & head towards Nubra valley known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 feet above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra check into Camp. In the evening, walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. Overnight stay at the Camp in Nubra.

Day 09: Nubra to Leh (160 Kms/ 7-8 hrs)
Today after delicious breakfast check out from the camps and enjoy double hump camel ride and don’t  forget to click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. Later ride back to Leh. This is going to be your last day in Leh. Spend the day in exploring the wonderful attractions of Leh and shop at bazaars. In the evening, take rest in the peaceful residential suburb of Changspa and  later enjoy your dinner with huge glasses of beer or the local hooch-chhang.  Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Day 10: Leh to Sarchu (240 Kms/ 8-10 hrs)
After breakfast it’s time now, to turn the back around, and head towards home. This day, you will get back to the track through which you reached Leh. En-route you will cross Taglang la (17,480 ft), world’s second highest motor able pass. Overnight stay at camp in Sarchu.

Day 11: Sarchu to Manali (230 Kms/ 8-10 hrs)
This is the final leg of our ritual road trip. We start our day early and our ride from Sarchu to Manali. The route is slightly rough, so this day we shall try and cover the maximum distance with minimum stopovers. Enjoy a smooth ride up the Lahaul ranges and reach Rohtang pass. Rohtang pass will come with a number of challenges with mini-rivers of mud. This herculean trip is the last phase of the journey. And by late evening you reach Manali. You finally kick-off all the exhaustion of this winsome journey and have a sound sleep. Overnight stay at hotel in Manali.

Day 12: Manali to Chandigarh/Delhi (230 Kms/ 8-10 hrs)

Today after breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed to Delhi. On the way admire the stunning scenery of the Kullu Valley with Himalayas on one side and the roaring River Beas on the other. On arrival at Delhi, the mesmerizing tour concludes as the vehicle drops you at Delhi Railway station or Airport. You will aboard your further connection for your place with innumerable tour memories!
